the room was clean and comfy, great shower pressure just what i needed after long days. staff were rly nice and helped with directions. location had food options everywhere so never went hungry. it's about a 10 min walk from the mrt which wasn't too bad during the day. overall nice budget stay for singapore.
but the area felt a bit sketchy at night and the walls were super thin so could hear other guests. also, there's no fridge in the room which was kinda a bummer.

clean, near bus stops, affordable dining options
Toilet and shower crammed together, resulting in a wet bathroom!!! No fridge in the room, no included slippers or useful amenities. Thin walls result in noisy hallways disrupting sleep!!! A bit far from the MRT station!!!

Comfort and convenience come alive
With a comfortable bed and strong shower pressure, I felt rejuvenated after a long day of exploring. The staff’s helpfulness was a delightful surprise that made my stay pleasant.
I found the location a bit far from major attractions, making my daily commuting a challenge. It would have been great to have an easier walk to the MRT.

the hotel is modern and funky. i really loved how clean it was and the shower was strong which is great after a long day in the heat! there's plenty of restaurants nearby and the wifi was super fast. also, the staff were cool and helped a lot with any questions i had.
but the room was kinda small and the shower situation is a bit weird with the toilet right next to it so it gets wet. also, the area is a red light district which made me a bit uneasy at times.

I found the room at Hotel 81 Palace to be small yet comfortable, which was perfect after long days of exploring. The bed felt just right for me, and I especially appreciated the strong shower that helped me relax after being out in the hot, humid Singaporean weather. The complimentary filtered water and coffee provided were nice touches that added to my stay. The staff were quite professional and made my check-in and check-out process smooth, which was a plus. I must mention the noise levels outside. the hotel is located in a bustling area, and I could hear chatter and activity late into the night, which impacted my sleep. The location isn't the most scenic, feeling more like an immigrant community, and the nearby surroundings had a bit of a rough edge to them. It’s also quite a walk to the closest MRT station, which can be uncomfortable in the midday heat. There are various food stalls around serving decent meals, but I noticed some cleanliness issues in the area. if you're looking for a budget stay, this hotel does the job well, but expect to sacrifice some comfort due to its location and size.

Comfortable room, clean bathroom, convenient location. I appreciated the coffee station in the room for mornings and the 24-hour reception which made check-in a breeze. It’s just a quick trip from the airport.

The clean, comfortable beds ensured a good night's sleep, and the hot shower offered great water pressure. Nearby, authentic Italian pizza and various restaurants made dining a delight. the room size felt constricting for movement, and noise from the street disrupted the quiet I hoped for. the bathroom layout, with the toilet crammed next to the shower, resulted in an awkward experience.
